05/15/2008 12:00 AM Esther E. Stay, 89, of Bemidji, died Feb. 29, 2008, at the Northern Pines Good Samaritan Center in Blackduck.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church of Pony Lake near Bemidji with the Rev. Bill Goodman officiating. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bemidji assisted the family with arrangements.
05/15/2008 12:00 AM Aaste Lindmark, 101, of Bemidji, formerly of Leonard, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Porto Plata Assisted Care Center in Bemidji.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Leonard with the Rev. Michael Sculley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Sinclair Township Cemetery in Leonard. The Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
05/15/2008 12:00 AM Melvin Peter Loff, 87, of Grand Rapids, Minn., formerly of Blackduck, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids with the Rev. George Gilbertson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Longville, Minn., with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 772 of Longville. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Blackduck assisted the family with arrangements.
