-LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT- ADVERTISEMENT FOR QUOTATIONS The City of Bemidji, Minnesota, will receive sealed Bids for the “Chief Bemidji Statue Platform 2014 Project” (City Project #229-47135) until 1:00 pm, Friday June 27th, 2014, at the office of the Parks & Recreation Director at the Public Works Facility located at 1351 5th Street NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, at which time all Bids will be publicly opened, and read aloud. The Project involves: All work, excavation, construction and restoration required to construct a platform for the new Chief Bemidji statue. It will be an octagon structure, approximately 30’ in diameter and will overlook Lake Bemidji in Library Park. Major items of the work will include but not limited to cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, concrete walk, metal guardrail and landscaping. Add alternates include decorative concrete walk, unit masonry and adhered stone masonry columns and stucco application to the face of the concrete wall.
