2:26 a.m. Saturday, 100 block of Third Street Northwest. Car tires were slashed.

Animals

9:39 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of 15th Street Northwest. A dog was reported abandoned.

7:26 a.m. Monday, Park Avenue Northwest and 30th Street Northwest. An injured goose was reported.

10:31 p.m. Sunday, 1300 block of Anne Street Northwest. A cat bit a girl while the girl was trying to free the cat from a storm drain. The cat ran off.

Thefts

7:36 a.m. Tuesday, no address listed. A shotgun, amplifier and subwoofer speaker box were stolen from a vehicle.

6:52 p.m. Monday, 1600 block of 23rd Street Northwest. A bicycle was stolen.

6:08 p.m. Monday, 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Three females were suspected of shoplifting at the Paul Bunyan Mall. They fled.

1:09 p.m. Monday, 1400 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A bike was reported stolen.

5:16 p.m. Sunday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A man was arrested on suspicion of theft/shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:38 a.m. Sunday, 1700 block of Norton Avenue Northwest. Property was stolen from two apartments.

6:57 a.m. Sunday, 10th Street Northeast and Maurice Avenue Northwest. Items were stolen from a vehicle.

5:28 p.m. Saturday, 1500 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Two jackets were stolen.

11:44 a.m. Saturday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. Three boys were shoplifting from Lueken's Village Foods North. All three fled.

11:09 a.m. Saturday, 1000 block of Washington Avenue Southeast. A bike was stolen.

8:44 a.m. Saturday, 2900 block of Hannah Avenue Northwest. A vehicle was stolen. It was recovered by the Cass County Sheriff's Office.

12:37 a.m. Saturday, 1100 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Southeast. Gas drive-off theft.

Property

11:33 p.m. Monday, U.S. Highway 71 Northwest and Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A purse was lost.

5:56 p.m. Sunday, no address listed. A front license plate was reported missing.

Assaults

9:12 p.m. Monday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A Walmart customer was being verbally abusive. Gone upon arrival.

5:31 a.m. Sunday, 2900 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. An assault was reported. A man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

3:43 a.m. Sunday, 1600 block of Bixby Avenue Northeast. A fight was reported. A male was arrested.

12:27 a.m. Sunday, 400 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A fight occurred.

6:12 p.m. Saturday, 500 block of Central Avenue Southeast. Two adults were arguing.

6:09 a.m. Saturday, 800 block of 26th Street Northwest. A mutual fight occurred. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.

1:43 a.m. Saturday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest. A possible fight was reported. Nothing was found.

Drugs

7:48 p.m. Sunday, Maurice Avenue Northwest. Marijuana plants were found growing in a swampy area. They were concealed by a camouflage mesh. The plants and the mesh were seized.

Peace disturbances

3:29 a.m. Sunday, 1000 block of Bemidji Avenue North. A female was trying to set a house on fire.

3:01 a.m. Sunday, 900 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A loud party was reported. The party dispersed and renters were warned of having a disorderly house.

Accident

7:03 p.m. Saturday, 2000 block of Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A pedestrian was struck by a boat trailer in a parking lot.

Fraud

11:42 a.m. Saturday, 1000 block of 15th Street Northwest. A female reported someone had been accessing her email and Facebook accounts.

Burglary

12:11 a.m. Saturday, 500 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A man was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree burglary.

Theft

10:07 p.m. Sunday, Bear Den Canoe Road Southwest. Items were stolen from a vehicle at the Bear Den Canoe landing.

Property damage

4:09 p.m. Sunday, Thomas Road Southwest. A house window was broken. A suspect was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property and violating a no drink order.

Disorderly conduct

3:03 p.m. Sunday, 1200 block of Little Norway Avenue Southeast. A female allegedly assaulted a deputy and caused property damage. She was arrested on an active warrant and for violating a no drink order.

7:38 p.m. Saturday, Fairview Lane Northwest. Fireworks that had been discharged were checked and determined to be the legal variety.

Peace disturbances

10:42 p.m. Saturday, Alps Court Northwest. Music was too loud.

1:08 a.m. Tuesday, Alps Court Northwest. Loud music was reported. One was arrested on suspicion of violating a no-drink order.

Animals

7:45 p.m. Saturday, U.S. Highway 71 Northwest, Blackduck. A cow was on the side of the highway. The owner was warned.

8:11 a.m. Saturday, North Plantagenet Road Southeast. Horses were running at large. The owner was located and notified.

3:25 p.m. Monday, Polaris Road Northwest. A horse walking along the roadway was returned to its owner.

Property

11:57 a.m. Saturday, Roosevelt Road Southeast. A box flew out of a trailer. It contained a red USA Hockey bag with pads, helmet and more. It was valued at $350 to $400.

Weapons

12:04 a.m. Saturday, Luomas Lane Southeast, Cass Lake. Report of shots fired. A male and female were arrested after pistol was located during traffic stop.

Assault

1:38 a.m. Tuesday, Scenic Highway Northeast, Blackduck. A possible assault and property damage were reported.

Burglaries

6:03 p.m. Monday, Sweet Sap Road Northwest, Puposky. The residence was entered through a garage window.

4:21 p.m. Monday, Little Norway Avenue Southeast. Multiple items were stolen.

11:40 a.m. Monday, Great Divide Road Northwest, Puposky. Keyholder interrupted a burglary in progress. The complainant struggled with suspect, who fled on an all-terrain vehicle. The complainant pursued the suspect while contacting law enforcement, but suspect eluded capture.

Harassment

5:08 p.m. Monday, Snowshoe Lane Northwest. Unwanted text messages were being received.

3:28 p.m. Saturday, 1300 block of America Avenue Northwest. Medical call.

6:38 p.m. Sunday, Hannah Avenue Northwest and 23rd Street Northwest. Assist police.
