Warrant issued for Hackensack liquor store robber

WALKER -- Law enforcement is seeking the whereabouts of a man involved in a liquor store robbery in June. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Curtis Eugene Hoffman III on Aug. 18 after he failed to appear at a hearing in Cass County Court.

Hoffman, 22, of Walker is charged with felony third-degree burglary after he and Jeffrey Allen Goose robbed the Hackensack Municipal Off-Sale Liquor Store on June 10. The men were captured on video stealing bottles of Captain Morgan.

Goose was convicted of felony third-degree burglary on Aug. 4. He was sentenced to one year and one day in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud which was stayed for five years. Third-degree burglary carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
