Park Rapids woman injured in snowmobile collision Monday afternoon
A Park Rapids woman was taken by ambulance to St. Joseph's Area Health Services Monday following a snowmobile collision with a fence east of Park Rapids.
Cassandra Mills, 28, was treated and released for an injury to her right leg, the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department said.
Her passenger, 35-year-old Christian Couch, also of Park Rapids, was not injured.
The two were riding a 1994 Ski Doo in the north ditch of Highway 34 when the snowmobile collided with a white wooden fence that borders the highway right of way. There was minimal damage to the fence and the snowmobile.
The accident occurred just before 4 p.m.
Responding to the incident were the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office, Park Rapids Police Department, State Patrol, North Memorial Ambulance Service, and Hubbard First Response.
