Maple syrup tapping event planned
BEMIDJI – Lake Bemidji State Park is hosting a From Tap to Table maple syrup tapping demonstration from 12:30-3:30 p.m. March 23-24 and April 6-7.
Early spring is generally the peak of the maple sap flow; however it may be affected by weather conditions. A naturalist will demonstrate how to tap and make maple syrup.
Organized groups and schools may make special arrangements for weekday demonstration by calling 308-2328.

St. Patrick’s Day Dance on Sunday
BEMIDJI – There is a St. Patrick’s Day Dance from 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday at the Bemidji Senior Activity Center, 216 3rd St. NW.
Local group, Ruby Tuesday, will be performing music during the event. There is a $2 cover charge.

Holistic Healing Expo planned Saturday
BEMIDJI – Harmony Co-op is hosting a Holistic Healing Expo from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The event will feature two massage therapists, a Reiki practitioner, In-Charge Fitness (MedSave Pharmacy’s offer of gym classes and healthy eating) and a session focusing on shoulders, neck and spine health.
There is no charge for any of the sessions, but freewill donations will be accepted.

Jadakiss concert rescheduled
BEMIDJI – The Jadakiss “On Consignment” tour at the Sanford Center has been rescheduled from March 30 to May 11.
The show starts at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7 p.m. The concert will feature Jadakiss, Robb G, Tony Moxberg, Pat Gallo, Tri-State Trigg and a local opener from Rez Rap Records.
Anyone who needs refunds due to the change may get those at the point of purchase in which they bought. All bought tickets or won tickets will be valid for the May 11th date.
