Bemidji woman sentenced for thefts from cars

BEMIDJI -- In December, the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office and Bemidji Police Department brought in eight people in connection with thefts from cars in the Bemidji area. In the end, three people faced theft charges.

Two men were sentenced earlier this year.

Nicole Lee Kramer, 30, of Bemidji was sentenced Monday in Beltrami County District Court to 21 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Shakopee. She was found guilty on four counts of felony financial transaction card fraud.

Kramer was ordered to pay $1,896.50 in restitution. Kramer was credited with 141 days time served in the Beltrami County Jail.

Kramer was arrested along with Paul Louis Kramer III and Lance Week. Kramer was sentenced March 31 for felony theft. Week was sentenced April 7 for felony financial transaction card fraud.
