Pinesol Postings: Scampers
Doug and I have been talking about a camping trip. We used to take long summer camping trips when he was a professor and had the free time and the kids were young enough to enjoy the family rambles. We stayed in many of the national parks setting up camp and hanging out until it seemed time to move on. No real schedules. We had tents, the "pop-up" campers. (The first one was homemade with iron pipes to support the canopy and thumb snaps to secure the fabric to the box.) Eventually, the children moved on and we did too. We gave away our camp stove and haven't thought about camping for at least 10 years. Click here to read the Pinesol Postings blog.
