Solway woman injured in rollover
BEMIDJI -- A Solway woman was injured in a one-vehicle rollover on Highway 2 near Bemidji on Thursday afternoon.
Maureen O'Brien, 71, of Solway, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 2 at mile marker 111 in the right lane just before 1 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol. As O'Brien was coming around a curve, her 2005 Dodge Caravan went into the ditch and rolled, the patrol said.
O'Brien, who was wearing her seat belt, was transfered to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol's report.Road conditions were icy, the patrol said. Road conditions were listed as hazardous in much of northwest Minnesota on Thursday as a winter storm moved through the area.
