Shop burglarized in Tenstrike

TENSTRIKE -- The Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary that occurred in Tenstrike at Andy’s Repair on Gull Lake Loop Road NW.

Shop owner Andy Efta Jr. reported a MAC air chisel, Cornwell air chisel, MAC VR15 half-inch ratchet and a MAC #ET5008 scan tool missing from his shop Dec. 17, according to a sheriff’s office incident report. Efta had been working on a car with the tools prior to closing his shop on Dec. 13 for the weekend. When he returned the following Monday, the items, along with $50 in cash, were gone. The scan tool is valued at approximately $4,000 and the MAC air chisel costs about $150.

There were no signs of forced entry and there are no suspects named at this time. Efta will be installing cameras in and around the shop area, the report said.
