Successful blood drive at BSU
BEMIDJI — According to Katie Bartelson, donor recruitment representative at United Blood Services, Bemidji State University had a strong turnout to donate on Dec. 4.
Forty-eight people volunteered to donate, and 38 people were able to give. Six people gave blood using the automated 2RBC machine, which collects two units of red blood cells.
A total of 44 products was collected overall. Twenty seven were first-time donors. The BSU Student Senate sponsored the blood drive.
