Open house Saturday for excavations along Paul Bunyan, Library parks

BEMIDJI — An open house to learn more about the archaeology excavations at Paul Bunyan and Library Parks will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 26 at the Rotary Pavilion in Paul Bunyan Park.

Archaeologists from the 106 Group will begin excavating on Thursday Oct. 24 at the site, which dates back at least 3,000 years. They will be in the park until the end of the following week.
