Arc United to host family picnic

BEMIDJI-- The Arc United will host a potluck picnic for families who have children with disabilities noon Saturday at Diamond Point Park.

Families who have children with special needs are welcome to attend to meet other families, make connections and share a meal.

Arc United will provide beverages and dessert. Families are asked to bring a dish to share.

Spay and neuter clinic offered

BEMIDJI-- Pet Fixers-Spay Neuter Assistance Program and Kindest Cut will host a low cost/low income spay neuter clinic Sept. 7-8 in Bemidji.

The clinic will be open to dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and rabbits.

Vaccinations and microchipping will be available to surgery patients.

Low income guidelines apply.

Wolf Pack Golf Tournament set

BEMIDJI-- Oak Hills Christian College announces the Wolf Pack Golf Tournament will be at noon Sept. 21 at the Long Bow Golf Club, in Walker, Minn.

The third annual event will cost $90 per person and $340 for a team of four. This includes 18 holes of golf, a cart and dinner following the tournament.

Proceeds will go to the upcoming season of intercollegiate men's basketball and women's volleyball.
