Daily arrests, police and report for Aug. 7

Police Report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:


2:53 p.m. Tuesday, 2900 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. Solar lights were reported stolen.

8:32 a.m. Tuesday, 1100 block of Pleasant Court Southwest. Two golf bags and clubs were stolen from a vehicle.


12:15 p.m. Tuesday, 400 block of Clausen Avenue Southwest. A veterinary clinic reported a man was trying to fraudulently get pain medication.


8:01 a.m. Tuesday, Gillett Drive Northwest. Someone reported seeing a cougar in the area of the bridge by the sewer plant, but an officer’s search revealed nothing.
