Tiernan Atteberry (left) and Hayden Hommes launch their waterproof vehicle to collect pollutants Friday as part of the Headwaters Science Center’s weeklong Engineering Innovations Workshop,”Waterbotics.” Seven students built remote-controlled water vehicles that collected debris in a giant swimming pool set up in the basement. The workshop was made possible by grants from First National Bank Foundation and Karvakko Enginnering, officials said.
