Rosequist accepted to U of M - Morris

BEMIDJI —- Miranda Rosequist, of Bemidji, has been accepted to and has chosen to attend the University of Minnesota, Morris. Rosequist, a 2014 graduate of Bemidji High School will attend Morris beginning fall 2014. Rosequist is the recipient of an Achievement Scholarship, renewable up to four years. Achievement Scholars are selected based on their academic accomplishments at the time of application.

Local students graduate from MSU-Mankato

BEMIDJI — Local students recently graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato. Students are listed by name, hometown, and major: Arlene Cuthrell, Bemidji, mass communications and Hadeel Tanash, Bemidji, health science and community health.

Local students recognized at Crookston

BEMIDJI —  The annual Student Awards Program, a celebration of student service, leadership, and academic and athletic achievement, was held recently at the University of Minnesota Crookston.

Faith Benassi, a junior majoring in equine science from Bemidji, was recognized with Presidents Volunteer Service Award. Ashley Hoffman, a senior majoring in agronomy and agricultural business from Shevlin, was recognized with Presidents Volunteer Service Award.
