NELL to host 'Finding Our Way'

Northern Exposure to Lifelong Learning will host its first of five workshops, titled, "Finding Our Way by the Stories we Tell," presented by Anne Dunn, at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Grace Free Lutheran Church, Bagley.

The workshop is free and open to the public.

Anne M. Dunn is a mixed-blood Anishinabe-Ojibwe grandmother storyteller. She has been traveling for decades carrying traditional tales to many places. She has four published collections of poems, myths and short stories. They include "When Beaver was Very Great," "Grandmother's Gift," "Winter Thunder," and "Uncombed Hair." She currently makes her home in rural Deer River, Minn.
