Local students receive degrees from NDSU

BEMIDJI — Local students recently received degrees from North Dakota State University. Jenna Jean Vanatta of Akeley received a bachelor’s degree in equine science and a certificate in animal health management. Simon James Anderson of Bemidji received a bachelor’s degree in human development and family science.

Mankato announces dean’s list

BEMIDJI — The dean’s list for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato was recently announced. Julia Armstrong,  Brooke Homer, and Alexander Schoneberger of Bemidji were named to the honor list.

named at Creighton

BEMIDJI — Full-time students who rank in the top 10 percent of their class for the semester and earn a 3.5 grade-point average or better are eligible for the dean’s list. Kelli Christiansen, of Bemidji, a first-year in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions and Colin Richards, of Solway, a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences, were both named to the dean’s list.

to honor list

BEMIDJI — Matthew Aaron Peske of Bemidji, a sophomore in engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named to the honor list for the 2013 Fall semester.

Honor list recipients must have carried a minimum of 12 hours and hold grade-point averages of 3.2 or above.

BEMIDJI — St. Cloud Technical and Community College recently announced the president’s list  dean’s list. Kari Smith of Bemidji studying Health Sciences Broad Field and Pre-Sonography was named to the president’s list.

Hoffman named

at Crookston

BEMIDJI — Ashley Hoffman, of Shevlin, has been named to the fall semester 2013 deans list at the University of Minnesota Crookston. Hoffman is enrolled in Agricultural Business and Agronomy. To qualify for a place on the Deans List, students must complete 12 or more letter-graded credits while attaining a 3.6 grade-point average.

BEMIDJI — Michael Arnold, of Bemidji, was among the more than 1,000 Montana State University undergraduates who received diplomas during Montana State University’s 2013 fall commencement ceremonies.
