BEMIDJI — LaValley Industries of Bemidji, best known as the manufacturer of the innovative Deckhand pipe handling product line, recently announced a distribution partnership with CRC-Evans Pipeline International, an international leader in pipeline construction technologies and product development, officials said in a press release.

As part of the partnership, CRC-Evans will become the exclusive global distributor of LaValley Industries’ Deckhand systems to the pipeline industry. Manufactured in Bemidji, the Deckhand product line is comprised of a patented, modular design able to perform a number of functions including pipe handling, road mat handling and weld positioning, according to the release.

“We believe the Deckhand — matched with the parts, services and rental opportunities offered by CRC-Evans — is a win-win for the industry,” said Jason LaValley, CEO of LaValley Industries. “There’s simply no substitute for responsive, on-time service for today’s demanding pipeline projects and we couldn’t be more pleased to be partnered with a world-class organization such as CRC-Evans.”
