Explore Chiropractic under new ownership
Explore Chiropractic, organizer and lead sponsor of the Bemidji Wellness Challenge, has announced the sale of the business to chiropractor Dr. Mike Headlee.
Explore Chiropractic, located in downtown Bemidji, will host a farewell party for former owner Dr. Angela Bremer from 1-6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20.
Headlee lives in Bemidji with his wife, Angie, and their three children, Paige, Daniel and Zoey.
"There is so much to do here," said Headlee, who moved his family to Bemidji in August. "I grew up close to this area and I am happy to be near family and be part of the Bemidji community."
Headlee uses two unique techniques in his practice: cranial release technique (www.cranialreleasetechnique.com), upper cervical specific, as well as full spine and torque release procedures. "My adjusting techniques are very similar to Dr. Bremer's," Headlee said. "We both practice wellness with our patients and use an adjusting technique specific to the practice member's wants and needs," says Headlee.
Bremer will continue to work at Explore Chiropractic through Monday.
"It is a bittersweet time for me in my life," Bremer said. "I have owned this office for six years and I have enjoyed every minute. My husband, Phil, our two children, Cole and Mariah, and I plan to move closer to both our families in the Metro area in the near future."
Bremer said she plans to practice chiropractic in the Metro area.
Explore Chiropractic offers a full range of wellness programs for adults and children including chiropractic, mental wellness, massage and nutritional guidance.
"I will be implementing the fourth annual Bemidji Wellness Challenge," Headlee said. "There are some new ideas I will be bringing to the table while still utilizing what Dr. Bremer had developed."
The Bemidji Wellness Challenge will begin in February.
