Henriksen to work with NMF program
Bonnie Henriksen, owner of Life Song Professional Coaching and Facilitation and a certified professional coach, has been invited by the Northwest Minnesota Foundation in Bemidji to co-facilitate its transformational leadership program, Leader Impact.
The program brings together regional leaders in a retreat format, developing learning communities that encourage individuals to explore their leadership gifts and styles and enhance their awareness of essential leadership abilities. A current NMF coach-in-residence, Henriksen joined the program designer and leadership expert, Okokon Udo, in facilitating the first leader group of 2010, running from January through April. NMF is enrolling participants for a second group to begin June 2.
"Strong leaders at all levels of an organization can energize and harness the power of people to accomplish the extraordinary," Henriksen said.
Life Song's facilitation, planning and team building services focus on experiential learning, one-on-one and small group coaching to allow team members to share responsibility for challenges and solutions.
Life Song also offers an innovative new retreat program for parents called Parent Builder. Nationally marketed for groups and organizations that serve families, Parent Builder provides tools to enrich family relationships and create environments where family members thrive. The curriculum was designed and led by Henriksen and her husband, Niels. The Henriksens were guest presenters at the Evergreen Family Conference last month in Bemidji.
