Pogue named as director

BEMIDJI — Kraus-Anderson Construction Co. has named Tracy Pogue director of business development in the company’s Bemidji office.

Pogue comes to Kraus-Anderson with 20 years of business development experience. Most recently, he was a real estate loan officer for Deerwood Bank in Bemidji.

Pogue received his degree in industrial technology and computer science from Bemidji State University.  He is active in numerous Bemidji organizations and events, including the Kraus-Anderson Walleye Classic, Sanford Health Foundation, Bemidji Youth Hockey Association, Bemidji State University Athletics Nagle Golf Tournament and Bemidji Area Take A Kid Fishing program.

Anderson selected as assistant engineer

BEMIDJI — J.T. Anderson has been named assistant district engineer for maintenance operations for the Minnesota Department of Transportation District 2 in Northwestern Minnesota.

Anderson had been serving in an acting role since June 2012 and has been with MnDOT for more than 17 years.

A native of Hallock,  Anderson earned his civil engineering degree from North Dakota State University in 1993 and holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of North Dakota. Anderson will oversee the district’s field operations, bridge, signs, Crookston permits, and fleet functions.

BSU student wins contest

BEMIDJI — Danika Stelton, a design technology major at Bemidji State University from International Falls, has won a competition to design a booth for the Exhibit Designers and Producers Association that will be used at a trade show in Europe early next year.

The association will use Stelton’s design for its booth at Euroshop, Europe’s largest exhibit and retail design trade show held every three years in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Stelton will travel to Dusseldorf and attend Euroshop, held in Feb. as a representative in the association’s booth.

Milli awarded for length of service

BEMIDJI — Bank Forward is pleased to honor Krista Milli for five years of service. Milli is serving as a Residential Real Estate Loan Officer.
