Two vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway 34 Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred at 4:47 p.m. near the intersection with 219th Avenue in Nevis Township, according to a Minnesota State Patrol report.

A 2014 Honda Accord, driven by Steven Bolton, 66, of Park Rapids was stopped in the eastbound lane, waiting to turn onto County Road 80 when a 1979 Ford F150, also traveling east, failed to stop. The collision caused the Honda to spin counter-clockwise, coming to rest in the westbound lane of Highway 34. The Ford went off the road to the right, rolled and came to a rest on its roof, pinning the driver, Charles Haussler, 66, of Fridley. Both were wearing seatbelts.

Bolton was uninjured. Haussler and his passenger were transported by North Memorial to St. Joseph's Health in Park Rapids non-life-threatening injuries.

The Park Rapids Fire Department and Hubbard County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene.
