Two injured in Cass County crash
PINE LAKE TOWNSHIP -- Two people were hurt Monday morning in a rollover crash near Pine Lake Township in Cass County.
According to a Minnesota State Patrol report, Billy John Forseman, 36, of Laporte, and Carolee Rae Geving, 32, of Longville, were traveling west on state Highway 200 at about 6:49 a.m. Monday. The driver lost control of the 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada while going around a curve and entered the ditch on the left side of the highway.
The car rolled and hit nearby trees, the report said. Forseman and Grevig both sustained non life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
In addition to the state patrol, the Leech Lake Police Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Office and the Walker Fire Department and North Ambulance Service responded to the crash.
