Man hurt in rollover crash near Turtle Lake, Minn.

TURTLE LAKE, Minn. - A 54-year-old Bigfork man was injured Monday, Oct. 23, when his vehicle rolled near Turtle Lake.

Kevin Dean Gustafson was traveling north on State Highway 38 in a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche when he headed into the west ditch. He overcorrected, causing his vehicle to rollover, which then came to a stop in the east ditch, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Road conditions were wet at the time according to the accident report.

The State Patrol said Gustafson was wearing his seat belt at the time. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.

He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
