BSO plans free concert Saturday night at Calvary church

BEMIDJI — A free concert will be held Saturday night as the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra prepares for its final performance of the season.

BSO director Beverly Everett will accompany Ed Huls and Eunjoo Lee for “An Evening of Song” as they perform some of their favorite hymns, Broadway tunes and opera songs at 7 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church.

The free event will be followed with a reception in the church fellowship hall.

Huls is the guest soloist for BSU’s “Music & Words” concert, to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Bemidji High School auditorium. That will mark the final BSO performance of the season. The cost for that concert is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for college students with identification; K-12 students are free.
