Thank you for April 28

Blood drive coordinators Jay Passa and Emily Francisco and the Lifestyle Educators sponsored a successful blood drive April 18 that saw 96 people volunteer to donate blood and 76 were able to give.

Twenty-one people gave blood on the automated 2RBC machine, which collects two units of red blood cells during the donation, so a total of 96 products were collected. Thirty-five of the volunteers were first-time donors.

The staff of United Blood Services, on behalf of the patients who receive blood, wish to thank all who volunteered to donate blood for their patience and organization.

The United Blood Service would also like to thank Raphael’s Bakery, Target, BSU Athletic Department and Bemidji State University.
