Bemidji man dies after Saturday crash
WALKER – A Bemidji man injured in a Saturday crash near here has died.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported on its website the driver who lost control of his car on State Highway 371 before it was struck broadside by another car has died.
Previously, the State Patrol reported Johnathan M. Fairbanks, 26, of Bemidji was northbound about 12:19 p.m. Saturday on Highway 371 when his 1995 Ford Taurus slid sideways near mile marker 103. It was hit broadside by a southbound vehicle driven by Wayne M. Goldsmith, 63, of Fosston. The condition of Goldsmith and his passenger, Linda L. Goldsmith, 61, of Fosston, was unavailable.
