Fredrick Louis Jackson
Fredrick Louis Jackson, 87, of White Earth, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 at Mahnomen Health Care Center.
He was born Nov. 23, 1921 to Lillian Jackson in White Earth where he was raised and educated.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-49. Following his discharge from the service he moved to Minneapolis. He returned to White Earth where he made his home since.
He was a member of Jess-Omundson Post 1676 of the VFW.
He is survived by four children: Kevin, of Rush City, Fredrick W., of Rush City, Loretta, of Ponsford, and Barbara Sue, of Ponsford; seven grandchildren; a sister: Ethel Rose, of White Earth; two brothers: Joseph, of White Earth, and Ed, of Detroit Lakes.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Visitation: 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16 until the time of the service on Saturday at the White Earth Community Center.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17 at St. Columba's Episcopal Church in White Earth, with Mother Lisa Smith officiating.
Interment: St. Columba's Episcopal Cemetery.
