William "Bill" Campbell, 50

William "Bill" Campbell, 50, of Park Rapids died unexpectedly at his home Tuesday, March 18, 2008.

He was born to Elwood and Leona (Lozenski) Campbell March 16, 1958 in Robbinsdale. He attended school in Minneapolis. He and his family went to Fort Lauderdale, FL where he managed a resort and ho-tel. He later moved to Alex-andria, where he managed another resort. After a short time in Alexandria, he and his family came to Park Rapids. He worked at the Lamb Weston/RDO potato plant in Park Rapids.

He married Penny Skin-ner July 24, 1991 in Akeley. He also owned and operated his own lawn care business for a short time before taking a long-term position as a land surveyor for Hubbard County.

He is survived by his mother; three children, Sarah (Ed) Szymczak of Du-luth, Nathan of Montrose, CO and Bradley (Jackie) of Park Rapids; three brothers and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood, and his wife, Penny in 2004.

Memorial service: Satur-day, March 22 at Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids with Rev. Loren Ferch officiating.
