Pint Night to celebrate Bemidji Symphony
BEMIDJI—The next Community Pint Night will benefit the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra.
The event is scheduled 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Bemidji Brewing, 211 America Ave. NW, in downtown Bemidji.
Bemidji Brewing will donate $1 from each pint sold, and groups of Bemidji Symphony Orchestra musicians will be playing music for the crowd.
To honor BSO's 80th season, the Community Pint Night is part of the kick-off to an $8,000 Challenge Gift for the BSO. Officials said that thanks to the generosity of a few Friends of the BSO, the group is launching an eight-week campaign, with a goal to raise at least $8,000 in order to match their offered gift.
Donations are tax-deductible and make a big difference for the BSO. Donations can be mailed to: Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, Box 3136, Bemidji, MN 56619. Donations can also be made online at www.bemidjisymphony.org/individuals.
