Christian Women's dinner at the Eagles

BEMIDJI—The Christian Women's summer dinner meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 16, in the Eagles Club back Community Room. Soloist Kari Grace will begin the program with music. Next, Chris Tolman will speak about the Raptor Rescue Program. The special speaker will be Laurie Kimball from Minneapolis. Bemidji Area Aglow to meet July 14

BEMIDJI—Bemidji Area Aglow will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 14, at Beltrami Electric, 4111 Technology Drive NW. This month's speaker will be a team member of reviveMINNESOTA, a ministry of Time to Revive out of Dallas. The mission of reviveMINNESOTA is to come alongside the local church to fulfill the prayer of Jesus in John 17; to see the Church united and to see all believers equipped to share their faith and make disciples, a press release said.

Cass Lake salad luncheon and bake sale July 19

CASS LAKE — Immanuel Lutheran Church women will host their salad luncheon and bake sale from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 349 Third St. NE in Cass Lake. Use the back door. The luncheon costs $6 and includes dessert and a beverage. All are welcome.

BACM next up at Evangelical Covenant Church

BEMIDJI—The Bemidji Area Church Musicians Summer Recital Series will present music at The Evangelical Covenant Church at noon on Wednesday, July 18. The recital will feature the church's pianist Lois Simonson, as well as Katelyn Tinglestad, violin, and Kari Miller, flute. Their program will consist of arrangements of well-known hymn melodies and sacred compositions. Simonson, long-time Bemidji resident, has performed to high acclaim for 23 of the 31 years the recital series has been offered, a press release said. She performs an annual Christmas concert and other concerts at the church.

A luncheon will follow the concert with a price to be announced. A freewill offering to fund music

scholarships will be received at the door. The Evangelical Covenant Church is located west of

Bemidji at 5405 Highway 2 W across from the Bemidji Theater.

• Aug. 29: First Lutheran Church—Turtle Island Ensemble: Sarah Carlson, piano; Sonja Connell, cello; Jon Romer, native flute; Bob Madeson, euphonium; Mike Tangen, guitar.

Holy Trinity Rummage Sale on July 21

BLACKDUCK—The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Rummage Sale will be held 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21. The church (with the big white steeple) is at 125 First St. NW by the clinic. Coffee and cookies will be served. Proceeds go toward the building fund.

Church to celebrate St. Ann's Day on July 21

BLACKDUCK—St. Ann's Catholic Church in Blackduck will celebrate St. Ann's Day on Saturday, July 21, after the 5 p.m. Mass.

The public is invited, and the meal is provided. There will be a picnic supper with burgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and all the fixings. Following the meal, there will be games for all ages.
