Grace to host Open-mic CoffeeHouse on Friday
BEMIDJI—Headwaters Music and Arts of Bemidji will hold its open-mic CoffeeHouse at 7 p.m. Friday, June 1. Sign-up begins at 6:30. Held on the first Friday of most months, the CoffeeHouse features open-mic music and spoken word performance in a supportive and family friendly environment, a release said.
Area performer and vocal instructor Kari Grace will serve as this month's host. "The
Coffeehouse never ceases to amaze me," Grace said in a release. "I love the nurturing environment and quality performances."
All ages and skill levels are encouraged to sign up for a 10- to 15-minute set. Admission is $3 per person or $7 per family.
Grace has sung for Norwegian royalty and achieved finalist status in a Schubert Club Competition, as well as singing alongside artists in residence at the Landmark Center.
The CoffeeHouse will take a summer break for July and August. It will return in September.
