BEMIDJI—As part of National Small Business Week, the Bemidji Chamber hosts the Awards of Excellence, now in its 14th year. This event is dedicated to honoring small business, entrepreneurs and their contributions to the growth and economy of our region, according to a chamber release.
The chamber is inviting community members to nominate an entrepreneur and or a business in the following categories: Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Wellness in the Workplace.
To place your nomination, visit www.bemidji.org and use the link on the homepage for the Awards of Excellence survey.
Deadline to nominate is April 2. All nominees must be current Chamber members in order to qualify for a nomination. A current member directory can be found at www.bemidji.org. Only one nomination is necessary as a panel of judges will contact each nominee for an interview.
The Charlie Naylor Lifetime Achievement award is selected by the chamber's past Board of Director chairs.
Winners of the Awards of Excellence will be announced during the event luncheon May 24 at the Hampton Inn & Suites. For more information, contact the chamber at (218) 444-3541.
