Car hits snowplow in Cass County
CASS COUNTY—A Bemidji woman escaped serious injuries Sunday during a crash with a state snowplow on U.S. Highway 2.
According to the State Patrol, a 2013 Dodge Sedan driven by Angela Gale, 26, of Bemidji, was eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 when it rear-ended a Minnesota Department of Transportation 2012 tandem plow truck, which also was traveling east.
The incident was reported at 8:23 a.m. Sunday, at milepost 145 on U.S. Highway 2 in Cass County. Gale suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. She was wearing her seat belt, as was the driver of the plow, Alex Peterson, 35, of Bemidji, who was not injured in the crash. Road conditions were listed as snow/ice on the Patrol's report.
