Harmony plans diabetic cooking class for new year

BEMIDJI -- Education classes for 2018 at Harmony Natural Foods Co-op will begin from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, with “New Year, New You: Low-Carb Diabetic-Friendly Cooking,” presented by special guest chef Marsha Driscoll. Participants will learn valuable nutrition information specially geared toward diabetes management, particularly reduced carbohydrates and sweeteners and make some healthy baked goods to take home, a press release said.
