A “Fairy Tale” of a story: Blackduck fall play is tonight
Fall Play time is here.
Blackduck High School’s “Fairy Tale Courtroom” debuts tonight with a dinner theater and shows also will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
“Fairy Tale Courtroom” is exactly what it sounds like: A fairyland courtroom set deep in the forests of The Brothers Grimm, where the Big Bad Wolf and The Wicked Witch will be set on trial for all of their wicked deeds in forests and kingdoms across fairyland.
Witnesses against these dastardly fiends include: the 3 Little Pigs, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, Little Red Riding Hood and Granny, and a disreputable Badger; from OZ, come Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, and a Flying Monkey to testify, as well as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming, The Magic Mirror, and 3 of the 7 Dwarves.
More than 50 students took part in making the production a reality, along with various members of the community.
