Charges filed after vehicle rollover injures 5

PARK RAPIDS – Charges have been filed after a vehicle rollover early Friday morning injured all five occupants of the car.

According to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office, a 2006 Cadillac rolled at 1:46 a.m. Friday on County Road 45. The car, driven by 25-year old Grant James Gustafson of Walker, was going at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and struck an approach, according to the press release.

All of the occupants were taken to Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, the press release said.

Hubbard County Sheriff Cory Aukes didn’t release the names of the other occupants and their conditions are unknown.

Gustafson was charged with eight counts of felony criminal vehicular operation and one count of misdemeanor DWI Monday in Hubbard County District Court, according to court records.
