Police Report

The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:

Disorderly Conduct

3:41 a.m. Thursday, 2600 block of Delton Avenue Northwest. An adult male was arrested for trespassing.

7:08 p.m. Thursday, 3500 Moberg Drive Northwest. A male was requested to be removed from the Quality Inn for smoking in his room. Male was warned for unlawful smoking.

2:49 a.m. Thursday, Toasty Beavers. Officers flagged down due to a disorderly conduct with an intoxicated male at the bar. Courtesy ride given.


1:06 a.m. Thursday, 200 block of 2nd Street Northwest. An officer responded to a call of bike parts stolen outside of Cantabria Coffee.

9:21 p.m. Thursday, intersection of Minnesota Avenue Northwest and 15th Street Northwest. Officers responded to a bike theft.

5:39 p.m. Thursday, 2211 Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest. A blue Toyota Sienna van left Murphy USA without paying for $73.76 in fuel.

2:29 p.m. Thursday, 1200 block of Norton Avenue Northwest. A report of two bikes from the yard in the last three days.


11:02 p.m. Thursday, 1000 block of 2nd Street Southeast. Resident reported smelling an odor of possible narcotics. Officers were unable to located any odor or drugs.

Disturbance of the Peace

4:32 a.m. Thursday, 900 block of 30th Street Northwest. Officers responded to a loud music complaint. An administrative citation was issued to the renter for a loud party ordinance violation.


12:40 a.m. Thursday, Eagles Bar. Officers responded to a fight at the bar. An adult male received an administrative citation for disorderly conduct.

Sheriff's report

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:


12:21 p.m. Thursday, 143 Clark Avenue South in Kelliher. Gas drive off reported.


8:25 a.m. Thursday, 4617 Jones Road Northwest in Solway. Caller reported cows in their yard.

Property Damage

8:22 a.m. Thursday, 179 Convenience Lane Southwest. A building was damaged by a vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and the situation was resolved.
