Week of May 8-11

TUESDAY, May 8 - Chicken patty and bun, curly fries, broccoli slaw, rosey applesauce, bread slice, milk variety.

WEDNESDAY, May 9 - Chicken quesadillas with salsa and sour cream, corn, mandarin oranges, Rice Krispie treat, bread slice, milk variety.

THURSDAY, May 10 - Cheese omelet, hashbrown potatoes, fresh oranges, muffin, frozen juice bar, bread slice, milk variety.

FRIDAY, May 11 - Italian dunkers, garlic cheesy bread, green beans, peaches, bread slice, milk variety.

Scholarships available

This scholarship available in the high school office:

James J. Wychor Scholarship: Seniors who desire to seek an eventual career in electronic media or broadcasting. Deadline is June 30.

Community Ed

30 Hour Classroom Drivers Ed will be held June 11-15, 18-22. The fee is $120.

Summer Basketball Camp will be held June 25-28 for third-ninth grade students. The cost is $45.

Volleyball Camp will be held June 18, 19, 20, 21. Grades 6-8 will be from 9:30 a.m.-noon and grades 9-12 from noon-3 p.m. The fee is $55.

MONDAY, May 7 - Pizza, California blend vegetables, pasta salad, pear, milk.

TUESDAY, May 8 - Sloppy joes, scalloped potatoes, corn, mixed fruit, milk.

WEDNESDAY, May 9 - Hot ham and cheese, mixed vegetables or french fries, kiwi, milk.

THURSDAY, May 10 - Hamburger macaroni hot dish, green beans, dinner roll, melon wedges, milk.

FRIDAY, May 11 - Chili, cheese slice, crackers, cinnamon roll, applesauce, milk.

Academic awards banquet

The Kelliher School 31st Academic Awards Banquet will be held May 7. The meal will begin at 6:15 p.m. and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.

All seniors and parents will be our honored guests. Scholarships will be awarded at the banquet. There will be reserved seating ill tile center of the commons for all seniors and their families all guests.

About students

The following students will graduate from Minnesota State University Moorhead May 11 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in MSUM's Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse:

Julie Aas of Tenstrike, will graduate with a Master of Science degree with a major in Curriculum and Instruction; Lindsey Bradseth of Hines, Cum Laude a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal; Dana Lucas of Kelliher, with a Bachelor of Nursing degree and James Taylor of Hines, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
