Police Report for April 11
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following reports:
3:20 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of America Avenue Northwest. An assault was reported. A 36-year-old man was arrested for violating a court order.
12:07 a.m. Tuesday, 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue Northwest. Noise complaint. Both renters were spoken to and warned about the noise.
5:30 p.m. Monday, 600 block of 36th Street Northwest. Roommates were assisted with handling a property dispute.
1:32 p.m. Monday, 900 block of Carter Circle Southeast. Two parents were arguing.
12:16 p.m. Monday, 1300 block of Anne Street Northwest. Sanford Bemidji Medical Center staff requested assistance with administering medication to a potentially unruly patient.
6:09 a.m. Monday, 1300 block of Anne Street Northwest. An intoxicated woman was removed from the property.
5:07 p.m. Monday, 1100 block of Birchmont Drive Northeast. Officers responded to a report of a dog chained to a sign post. The dog was located running at large and was impounded.
1:40 p.m. Monday, 1000 block of America Avenue Northwest. Items were stolen from a vehicle.
11:37 a.m. Monday, 500 block of Minnesota Avenue Northwest. Two students were caught smoking in the bathroom.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following reports:
4:33 p.m. Monday, Paul Miller Lane Northwest. A rear door was forced open. Items taken were $20 in change, $20 in silver, coins, a micro coin set valued at $50, three $2 bills and three silver certificates valued at $10 each. Neighbors were spoken to, but nothing suspicious was observed.
11:23 a.m. Monday, Highway 89 Northwest. Copper was stolen from an empty farm house sometime within the last month. Arrangements are being made to look for evidence.
11 a.m. Monday, Roosevelt Road Southeast. Three mailboxes, all mounted together, were damaged in the last 24 hours.
10:53 a.m. Monday, Northwood Road Northwest, Solway. A parent located suspicious pipes in their child's belongings after coming home from the military. The parent wanted tested due to their child's behavior.
