Police Report for April 4
The Bemidji Police Department responded to the following calls:
12:18 a.m. Tuesday, 600 block of America Avenue Northwest. A female called looking for a vehicle she had lent to a friend. The vehicle had been towed by the sheriff's office for an investigation.
8:52 p.m. Monday, 300 block of 23rd Street Northeast. Money was stolen from a wallet.
11:51 a.m. Monday, 300 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A cardboard box of VHS tapes was stolen from a vehicle.
8:50 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of Beltrami Avenue Northwest. A woman reported that a man came up to her outside of her workplace and asked if she remembered him. Officers provided extra patrol in the area.
The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office responded to the following calls:
11:43 p.m. Monday, Uffda Lane Northeast. Caller reported five puppies running along Power Dam Road near Lake Avenue.
2:06 p.m. Monday, no address listed. The caller reported unwanted text pictures and messages. The sender was contacted. The messages were determined to be a mistake; the wrong number was entered into the phone. The number was deleted.
6:53 a.m. Monday, 4800 block of Scribner Road Northwest. A burglary of a business was reported. Tools, a pickup truck and office items were stolen.
