Sanford offers varicose vein screening
The Sanford Bemidji Clinic will host a free varicose vein screening from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at its Main Clinic, 1233 34th St. NW.
The screening will be held to raise awareness of venous disease, risk factors, prevention and available treatment options. Women ages 40-49 and men ages 70-79 are most likely to develop varicose veins. Common risk factors include multiple pregnancies, family history, obesity and standing professions.
Those interested in attending the screening can contact the clinic at 333-5283 for more information and to schedule their appointment.
