Dennis Warner to perform Beads on One String concerts in Kitchigami Region.

Dennis Warner and his band, the D's, will tour Kitchigami Libraries to perform Beads on One String family concerts. Dennis &and the D's will present a concert at the Blackduck Golf Course, sponsored by the Blackduck Community Library May 10 at 6:30 p.m. Children and adults of all ages will enjoy this concert. It is free, and open to the public.

Americana/folk singer and songwriter Dennis Warner blends humor, audience participation and serious music into a memorable and fun concert for adults and families. Warner's song Beads on One String is about our "connectedness" in the world, and how we are all much more alike than we are different. Several years ago, his popular Beads on One String song became the Beads on One String children's book. The book has become a favorite with parents, teachers, and librarians, and is now in it's fourth printing.

Warner has toured extensively, performing as a solo artist in all 50 states during his 20 plus year career, including over 1,000 public libraries! Warner was honored to perform in concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He lives in Clearwater. Many of Warner's songs speak to his love for the environment and the outdoors. For this special Kitchigami Legacy concert tour, Dennis will be accompanied by this band the D's.

The Beads on One String concert tour is made possible with funding from the State of Minnesota Legacy Amendment, Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
