Little Women will be staged in Akeley

Minnesota Folklore Theater will present "Little Women" from Louise May Alcott's famous story at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays from March 25-April 3 at the theater located at 6 Broadway Street in Akeley.

The play is from an original adaptation made in 1900 by Elizabeth Lincoln Gould. Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and $8 students.

Also, at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, a Victorian Little Women Tea will be held at Akeley United Methodist Church where enthusiasts can enjoy a tea with all the characters before the show. Tea tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $10 for children, and include a ticket to the show.
