Shevlin woman critically injured in Hubbard County accident
BEMIDJI -- A 56-year-old Shevlin woman is in critical condition following a single-vehicle accident Saturday in Hubbard County.
Lisa Hensel was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis after she was found near the intersection of Hubbard County roads 4 and 40, according to a press release from the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident was reported about 4 p.m., and deputies found a 1997 Cadillac upside down on its roof in a ditch. Hensel was found unresponsive in the woods about 60 feet away from the vehicle.
The release said Hensel had been traveling north on County Road 4 when the vehicle left the roadway, hit an approach and overturned. Hesel was airlifted to the North Memorial and listed in critical condition.
