Cash reported stolen from Crookston bar

The Crookston Police Department is looking for two men who reportedly stole cash from a bar over the weekend.

The men came into the Crooks Club on Sunday evening about midnight, and one man distracted the bartender while the other went into the bar's office and took an undetermined amount of money, the department said in a news release.

The theft was not discovered until after the bar at 223 N. Main St. closed that night, and it was reported to police shortly after 10 a.m. Monday.

One suspect was described as a white man in his 30s. He was wearing a green shirt, a black nylon vest, blue jeans, tennis shoes and a bomber-style hat.

The other suspect was described as a white man around 40 years old. He stood about 5-foot, 8-inches tall and was stocky with a round face. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored baseball hat and a multicolored, plaid shirt.

Anyone with information about the theft can call the Crookston Police Department at (218) 281-3111.
