Bemidji man injured in bike-versus-car accident
A 47-year-old Bemidji man was taken by ambulance to North Country Regional Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle while bicycling Sunday evening.
According to a Beltrami County Sheriff's Office report:
Officers were called at 8:14 p.m. to the intersection of Irvine Avenue North and Balsam road Northwest for a car-versus-bicycle accident.
The bicyclist, William Winegar, was taken to NCRH. There was no record of him at the hospital on Monday.
The driver of the Chevrolet was a 17-year-old boy who was not identified.
