GF Police arrest man after reports of multiple gunshots fired in air
A man has been arrested after Grand Forks police investigated reports that multiple gunshots were fired near Southgate Casino Bar and Grill early this morning.
The suspect, Ut Muoi M. Ngo, was arrested for reckless endangerment, a class C felony, and was jailed at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. Additional charges are pending, according to a police news release.
Police were dispatched shortly before 12:30 a.m. on a report of possible gunfire in south Grand Forks, and they were directed to the area of Southgate Casino Bar and Grill.
According to witness accounts and available evidence, the suspect fired at least fourteen rounds into the air just outside Southgate's main entrance.
The suspect was located a short time later in a south-end Grand Forks apartment and taken into custody, according , where he was taken into custody.
