heim-made Yule Tide Sale to be held

The annual heim-made Yule Tide sale will be held Nov. 18 from 4-6 p.m. and Nov. 20 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be free hot apple cider and Christmas cookies!

Items featured will be heim-made lotion, soap/shampoo bar, lip balm from their own special recipes using natural oils; wool products such as scarves, mittens, and hats for men, women and children, mohair socks, smittens -- sock/mittens and flower patches.

New items this year include soy candles and deer candle holders, silver jewelry, fingerless gloves, mohair pillows, knit scarves and hand-felted hats!

You won't want to miss the unveiling of the local portrait photo in conjunction with FACES & PLACES photo show at 2 p.m. Nov. 18.

Also available will be Saum Sweet Thangs and Maple Syrup -- Dick Florhaug and Allan Krogseng, woodworking items and wild rice from Gary and Kay Leonhardt, burl bowls and jewelry from Joe and Karen Corcoran, birchbark frames and mirrors from Robert Fineday, wreaths and garlands from Colleen Hillman, home-baked goods from Jackie Frenzel and local honey products from the Bar Bell Bee Ranch.

The sale location is 10 miles north of Blackduck on Hwy. 72, continue north on County Road 36 for 5 miles, take gravel road Cty. 38, also known as Battle River Rd.for four miles, turn left at driveway fire#18582. Look for the sign.
